Local Processing Commitment

Your calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not sent to our server for calculation. When you enter running paces, workout times, heart rates, or distances into our calculators, those computations occur entirely on your local machine using client-side JavaScript.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, log, or transmit your calculator inputs. Values typed into the pace, time, distance, heart rate, or temperature fields remain ephemeral within your browser session memory. We do not require account registration, passwords, or personal health records to access our tools.

2. Automatically Collected Technical Data

Like nearly all standard websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically collects non-personally identifiable server log data. This may include your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp of request. This information is utilized strictly for system diagnostics, server load monitoring, and preventing malicious DDoS attacks.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Fast Pace Calculator does not use invasive tracking cookies. We may use your browser's lightweight localStorage or session state exclusively to remember your preferred measurement units (metric vs. imperial) between visits. You may disable cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time without degrading calculator accuracy.

4. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To maintain free public access to our calculation tools, we may display unobtrusive, contextual advertisements served by compliant third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense). These third parties may utilize cookies or web beacons in accordance with their respective privacy policies to deliver relevant advertising. You may manage personalized advertising preferences via the Google Ad Settings portal.

5. Data Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Under European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), users have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of personal information. Because we do not store personal profiles or calculation inputs, we retain no database of your workout entries. For general inquiries regarding server logs, contact us at privacy@fastpacecalculator.com.

6. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect enhancements to our toolset or changes in data regulations. Any revisions will be reflected on this page with an updated timestamp.
